Focus

Sam grew up in Newburyport and currently lives in Manchester-by-the-Sea. Prior to entering the legal field, Sam worked as a special education teacher and school administrator. He successfully advocated for children in and out of the classroom and provided special needs students with better access to the curriculum.

As a trained mediator, Sam effectively applies his mediation skills to identify the underlying interests of his clients as well as those of opposing parties. This allows for quicker and more successful solutions throughout the legal process.

Sam is an education law attorney who works to ensure the implementation of enforceable IEPs that support his students’ educational success. His work in higher education includes serving as a Title IX advisor and hearing officer, as well as helping students with disabilities understand their rights and advocate for the accommodations and support they need.

Outside of SET LAW

When Sam is not in the office, you can find him spending time with his loving wife and two boys. He enjoys spending outdoor time with them on walks, playing at the playground, or kicking around a soccer ball.

Sam regularly volunteers and supports his local community.
